Artist Spotlight: Rossarin at DIBS 2024

By Frances Flannagan

Debuting Superyachts.com’s venture in the world of art, abstract expressionist Rossarin presented a series of exclusive art collections at the Dubai International Boat Show 2024 (DIBS). In a bespoke exhibition, attendees were able to admire Rossarin’s artwork and engage with the artist herself: a unique addition to the boat show.

Rossarin’s beautiful art exhibition captured the attention of DIBS attendees over the course of the five day show, as she presented six of her collections to the industry for the very first time. The stand was a spectacle of colour, highlighting Rossarin’s inspirations of the marine, every-day life, and human emotions.

Rossarin provided an insight into the philosophy behind her creations: ‘Whenever I go to the studio and start to work, I try to tell myself to set myself free… follow what your heart tells you and, usually, that’s the best thing.’

Her artwork at the show spanned three sizes: 160 x 130cm, 120 x 90cm and 70 x 90cm, all featuring an array of colours and textures.

Rossarin expressed her enthusiasm at working with Superyachts.com to bring the exhibition to life, acknowledging the unwavering support offered throughout the development process alongside the impressive marketing platform. She also extended her thanks to 3S Money, the sponsor of the exhibition, who will serve as a continued partner in the future.

Having worked in the superyacht industry for almost ten years, being at DIBS was a special moment for Rossarin. She commented: ‘Dubai is a place that I love to be. So, for me, to be able to bring the thing that I love to the place that I love, it couldn’t be better.’

The exhibition saw an overwhelmingly positive response from attendees, who were able to admire the artwork in a unique and intimate way and share their praise of the pieces with Rossarin herself.
