From Strength to Strength: Rossarin at the Palm Beach International Boat Show
Just two weeks after a spectacular exhibition at the Dubai International Boat Show, renowned Thai abstract expressionist Rossarin headed to Palm Beach to showcase her American Collection to the superyacht industry. In a similarly intimate exhibition as in Dubai, three carefully selected pieces were displayed for visitors to admire, showcasing a taste of the very best of Rossarin’s talent.
Spanning two continents in the space of just two weeks, Rossarin attended the Palm Beach International Boat Show (PBIBS) to promote her American Collection. This collection is made up of 13 different Moments of three different sized canvases: 60 x 80cm, 120 x 90cm and 180 x 115cm.
This exciting exhibition was the perfect way to elevate Rossarin’s presence in the USA in a similar way to her attendance in Dubai, presenting her stunning creations to the show’s thousands of visitors. The intimate stand offered people the exclusive opportunity to immerse themselves in Rossarin’s American Collection and speak directly with the artist about her work.
Three pieces from The American Collection were on display, ‘Reimagined’ and ‘Embracing Serenity’ from Moments of : Serenity and ‘Dusk’s Delight’ from Moments of : Reverence.
The two final Increments of Moments of : Serenity display Rossarin’s meticulous use of colour, with ‘Reimagined’ displaying a bright and varied colour palette combined with the neutral tones found in the previous Increments with the Moment. ‘Embracing Serenity’, the final piece, is a stunning explosion of colour, with bold hues of pink and yellow dramatically set against greys and whites, taking the Moment from a simple idea of serenity to a true spectacle.
‘Dusk’s Delight’ is the final Increment within Moments of : Reverence, encapsulating a gentle colour palette, with an interplay of light pink and deep purple creating a sense of movement yet calmness. This expressive composition is the perfect conclusion to this Moment, and was the perfect centrepiece for the display at Palm Beach, allowing viewers to revel in the short-lived beauty of dusk, capturing emotions of both delight and wonder.
These three paintings encapsulate the philosophy behind Rossarin’s art, one of which is continuously inspired by nature and emotions, whilst also highlighting her virtuosic use of colour and texture: mimicking patterns found in nature and expressing herself through them.
Growing her presence across the globe and offering an exclusive collection to the US market shows the ways in which Rossarin continues to go from strength to strength: allowing people from all over the world to connect with her creations. Her unwavering passion for art and for the yachting industry continues to act as an inspiration for all those lucky enough to immerse themselves in her paintings, and her presence at PBIBS 2024 reflects this.
