Damen Yachting Announces Sale of Third Amels 80

The third hull of the 80-metre Amels Limited Editions design will be built under the name 'Project Zurich' with a delivery scheduled for 2026.

This vessel boasts a GT of 2175, with the ability to host up to 14 guests across a range of luxurious cabins; the designer of which remains shrouded in secrecy. 

The Owner has appointed a well-known design team for the custom interiors and all details remain confidential at this moment in time. Project Zurich will also be able to host up to 20 crew members, plus the Captain.

In terms of exterior design, she was penned by the world-renowned Espen Øino, and will be customised with a number of unique features set to dazzle everyone on board.

Jan van Hogerwou, Commercial Executive of Damen Yachting, worked closely with the client throughout the sales process. He commented: “It is almost a year to the date since we introduced the Amels 80. The fact that we have seen not only positive reactions to the design since the launch but also a strong sales foothold within the first 12 months are a true testament to her modern design and trusted build pedigree. I am very much looking forward to embarking on the build journey with this experienced client.”
