Interior Insight: Bilgin’s 49.95m Project AME’s Stunning Interiors Unveiled

By Frances Flannagan

The long-awaited interior images of Bilgin Yachts’ Project AME have been unveiled, marking a significant milestone for this remarkable vessel as she showcases the unparalleled fusion of design prowess, engineering excellence, and maritime luxury of the Turkish yard.

Bilgin Yachts’ Project AME is a 49.95m motor yacht, with Unique Yacht Design responsible for her exterior design and naval architecture and Hot Lab in charge of her interior. Project AME’s design is a result of extensive deliberations between Frank Grzeszczak Jr., Vice President & Sales Broker of FGI Yacht Group, Berkay Yılmaz, the Commercial Director of Bilgin Yachts, and Enrico Lumini, Partner and Head of Design at Hot Lab. Their collective vision lent itself to a creative brilliance being discovered and executed: an interior that harmoniously blends timeless elegance with modern design sensibilities as a result.

Lumini has described Project AME as an elegant and timeless vessel. She is a meticulously designed yacht, whilst also being welcoming, with smooth surfaces and natural colours pervading the interior mood board. She has a modern look: the sophisticated sand, cream and light grey colours being contrasted with rich textures and reflective elements, which enlarge the space and amplify the feeling of an ultra high-end product.

A range of materials have been used throughout her design: 3D woods, metal-mesh laminated glasses and chromed stainless steel elements as examples. Beautiful carpets and fabrics from the rich Italian textile heritage help to create relaxing interiors amidst the complex designs and materials, resulting in guests able to perceive the dedication and skill behind Project AME’s spectacular interiors.

The images of Project AME’s interior reveal an oasis of sophistication: sumptuous living spaces combined with avant-garde amenities and meticulous detailings. The atmosphere created is one that is just as inviting as it is awe-inspiring, a beautiful blend of handcrafted materials and bespoke furnishing alongside innovative technology.

Her incredible interior design does not mean that her performance capabilities were left unconsidered; she is equipped with twin 1450 CAT engines, enabling a top speed of 16.5 knots at a low cost. She is the second unit of the Bilgin 163 to be sold, this sale highlighting Bilgin Yachts’ exceptional place within the superyacht industry.
